FSU graduate May 2025
I am a motivated Psychology and Criminology graduate with a strong foundation in human behavior, decision-making, and interpersonal communication. My academic background has equipped me with the ability to analyze behavioral patterns, build meaningful relationships, and develop strategic solutions in dynamic, competitive environments. With a passion for understanding human interactions, I excel at leveraging psychological insights to foster trust, influence decision-making, and drive impactful results.
Beyond academics, I have gained valuable leadership experience through my involvement with Kappa Kappa Gamma. As the Continuous Open Bidding Director, I led sorority recruitment initiatives, ensuring successful candidate selection and a seamless onboarding experience for new members. Additionally, as Homecoming Coordinator, I played a key role in organizing major events, facilitating cross-council collaboration, and enhancing participation across Greek organizations at Florida State University.
My research experience has further strengthened my analytical and data-driven approach. As a research assistant for both the Cougle Lab at the FSU Department of Psychology and the KATLAB, I worked closely with research coordinators to optimize lab operations, administer surveys, and operate EEG equipment. These roles allowed me to refine my ability to collect and interpret data while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in research processes.
Outside of academia and research, I have developed strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills through customer-facing roles in the hospitality industry. Working since the age of 16 as a server at restaurants such as Applebee's, Canopy Road Café and American Social, I thrived in fast-paced environments, balancing multiple responsibilities while providing excellent customer service.
Since starting at FSU, I have consistently achieved the academic excellence required to qualify for the Dean’s List every semester. With a 3.75 GPA, I am graduating Magna Cum Laude with dual degrees in Psychology & Criminology.
I joined FSU's Epsilon Zeta Chapter as a freshman and have since taken on leadership roles as Continuous Open Bidding Director and Homecoming Coordinator, contributing to recruitment efforts and event planning.
Joining Psi Chi at FSU afforded me the opportunity to participate in various academic, professional, and community activities such as guest speaker events, faculty meet & greets, and community outreach initiatives.
Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.
